Privacy Policy

KeepOrbit is a short-link and open-analytics platform. This is what we collect from people who open shared links, and how we handle it.

What we collect

When someone opens a link, we record an approximate location (country and city), basic browser and device information, and the time of the visit. Raw IP addresses are not stored — they are used briefly to look up the location and are then replaced with an anonymized identifier.

We do not collect names, email addresses, cookies, or any account identifiers from people who open links.

Why we collect it

The person who created the link can see how many people reached it, roughly where they were, and what device they used. This is the whole product.

Who sees it

Open records are visible only to the account that created the link. We do not sell or share them. When a link is deleted or expires, its records go with it.

How long we keep it

Open records live until the link is deleted or its retention window ends. See the Retention Policy for the specifics.

Your rights

Under GDPR and similar laws you can request access to, or deletion of, the data we hold about you. Write to us at support@keeporbit.co and reference the specific link so we can locate the record. When you use KeepOrbit for a campaign, you are the data controller and we act as your processor.
